  Hello WordPress…
  I like my themes clean..I have the Misty Look on it now…real nice…
  Can I take out the those Feeds off the page..
  Clean and sleek..thats the name of the game for me..haha

  Misty Look – remoe RSS feeds
  Here is a post that contains a section on removing the RSS feeds without the CSS upgrade. Scroll down until you see this paragraph and follow theinstructions:
  “Widget content in MistyLook is displayed in a grey background, so if you paste the above code alone in a text widget, you’ll hide the RSS feeds alright but you’ll have an empty grey rectangle in the sidebar. …”

  I haven’t been able to locate a way to remove the searchbox without the CSS upgrade and I’m not sure if it can be removed with it. So you will have to wait until another volunteer chimes in with a solution or confirms whether or not it can be removed by CSS editing.
