Female Newbie Trying To Organize Her Work Before It's Too Late!! Help!!

    Hello This is Rosanna…Call me RoZy,
    I’m new to WordPress as a website design platform but I’m here giving it a try. So far I created my site…with a few pages. It’s still messy but every day i learn something new and get a big chunk accomplished. Anyway, I’m a bit confused.

    1) Do I still need to have an outside hosting service using WordPress? Also, because my domain rosannamccoy.com has been hosted by an outside service when I created my wordpress site I used rosannamccoy.com/wordpress just to be safe… I thought adding the /wordpress was just to create a folder for files… But now I see that it affects the whole site and it does not display properly online.

    2)How can I change that URL without losing all the work that I’ve put in so far? I’ve already done my first backup… But I have no skills looking at WP file structure…

    3)I also see that my wordpress blog (that I rarely posted to) did not connect to this site. I would like it to be connected since it has some of my jewelry photos… How can I link that to this current site?

    4) creating a 2nd site (qualitycareconstruction) … and I can’t find the storefront theme? I’d like to use it to keep things consistent with my site to keep things easy for me to manage two sites… What happened to that theme???

    If you’re using wordpress.com to host post sites, you don’t need an outside web server to host wordpress. However, you can pay $13 (I think) to map your domain name to the wordpress site.

    I guess I’m a bit confused. Do you use outside web hosting for rosannamccoy.com? If you do and are using WordPress on that, I would take a look at the wordpress.org forums. (It’s been awhile since I’ve used the self-install version, otherwise I’d try to be more help.)

    Regarding #2, if you go here: https://wordpress.com/themes/ and click on MORE then choose the Business option under “Types” that might help you find the theme you’re looking for.

    Lastly, I’d edit your post and remove your phone number…
