Fictive: blue colour gone above posts on main page

Instead of the blue bar, my posts show a rust-coloured bar . Can you tell me how I’ve managed to change the colour?

I would love to customize the colours but have no budget for a premium account. Instead, i would be content with having the blue colour back!

    Hi there,

So I checked the theme’s source code and a few other sites that use the same theme. The rust color is indeed the default color, and it seemed like that only way to change it is using the color palette option, that is part of the Custom Design upgrade.

I have no idea why the color on your site was blue previously; that shouldn’t really happen.

Finally, the bar’s color actually differ depending on the Post Format type of a post. On the demo here: http://fictivedemo.wordpress.com/, you can see that:

    1) For a sticky post: it’s blue
    2) Picture post: blue as well
    3) Link: pale blue
    4) Gallery post: light orange
    5) Text post: rust
    6) Aside post: light rust(?)
    7) Video post: light gray
    8) Quote: coffee
    9) Status post: coffee again

Your homepage (http://marybethmclaughlin.wordpress.com/) shows a page, and it looks like the default color for page is rust.

So basically what I’m trying to say is that you can get the blue bar color if you create a specific post format as per the list above.
