Fictive Theme – Can I have just the headings & featured image on home screen?

  Hi. I am new to WordPress and blogs in general. Have just set up a blog on the fictive theme. I would like to see what it is like with just the headings and featured image (where there is one) on the home screen, with people having to click on the heading to go through to read the actual post. Is this possible? The text is quite big so it seems like you have to scroll down a lot on the home screen, so I would prefer it to be more like a contents page. I have seen this is possible on some other themes where there is just an image and title for each on the front page. But I quite like the look of Fictive on mobiles etc too, and I won’t always have an image for each post. Can you help? Thanks, Rachel
