Fictive theme: changing circle picture on home page

I can’t figure out how to change the little circle picture on my home page, under the header image. I changed it once, but the picture disappeared, and I can’t figure out how to do it again.

Hey there,
Because your site is marked as private, users like myself are unable to go into it and troubleshoot for you. I would love to be able to help you out but cannot at this time. I am sending a request for an invite for from you so I can go take a look. However, if you accept and I am unable to help you, the next person willing to help you will have to do this again unless you change your privacy settings. It is understandable if you do not want to do this, however, it could make it difficult on getting a solution for you.
Let me/us know what you decide to do.

The circular image you refer to is the Gravatar image associated with the email address entered at Customize > Theme > Gravatar Email. If no Gravatar image is presently displayed over your header image, then add an email address in the Gravatar Email field and click the Save & Publish button. To change the Gravatar image displayed, enter an different email address and save it.

You currently have an email set in the Gravatar Email field in the Theme Options panel, but there is no photo associated with it. If you’d like to add one, you can log into Gravatar with your WordPress.com account and add one to your account there:
