File a post under a certain page
-
I have created a blog with five different pages (politics, gripes, balloons, etc.).
I would like to be able to create a post and have that post appear on the page it’s related to.
I’ve seen other blogs where their most recent posts appear on their home page but the post also appears on the specific page (filed Under <page name>).
How can I accomplish the same behavior? I’m using the “Structure” theme
Thanks!!

Pages are a form of content, like posts, so they can’t contain posts.
Instead, I recommend using your categories and category archive pages.

So could you explain this to me? Take a look at this blog.
This guy has several pages. If you choose any page, you’ll see not static content, but several posts. For example, go to the Food & Drink page and you’ll see two separate posts. If you go under Projects, there are three posts.

These are his category archive pages, and that particular placement is part of his theme.
You can do something similar with any theme by creating your own menu: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

Thanks, mac!!
As you can probably guess…I’m REALLY new to all of this!!
I’ll give it a shot and let you know how it goes!!
