file after deleting the blog-website still available

  Hi,
  i already deleted my blog-website and thought all content would be deleted too. but it isn’t so – i still see the documents when i press the link (f.i. via google). how can i delete it – or who could help me? THANK YOU!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  First of all you should log out and empty your browser cache and cookies. You may be seeing the browser’s cached version of the site.

  Also, it takes time for Google to recrawl and index your site. If you need to remove sensitive information from Google’s cache, you’ll need to contact them and any other search engine directly. This is not something that WordPressdotcom can do for you. More about that here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/

  thank you for your quick reply – i still empty browser and cookies. and i already did contact google to remove outdated content. so i will wait.

  but: are my files still on any wordpress.com-servers? isn’t so?

  Hi again I don’t know when you deleted your site but in the past the cache has been automatically emptied every 3 days. If you clear your browser cache and still see the file in a couple days please return here and add the MODLOOK tag to this forum thread sidebar for staff assistance.

  And sorry for perhaps belatedly stating the obvious; if you are talking about the site you’ve linked to above dakpost.wordpress.com, it is not deleted. Did you follow the directions in this guide to do so? https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  thank you for your reply – the page that i deleted was

  https://verdisat.wordpress.com

  the files with the beginning url: “https://verdisat.files.wordpress.com/….” are still existing.

  Hi again, this is what I get when I visit your deleted site:

  verdisat.wordpress.com is no longer available.

  The authors have deleted this site.

  In other words, the above site cannot be accessed. If you want to provide a link to a specific file that you believe is still available online, please give us the link here.

  OK-thanks for providing that link.

  When I click on the link, it comes up as a “404-File Not Found” error (temp screenshot) so whatever you are pulling up is from a local cache somewhere (browser, ISP, etc.). The file is no longer available here.

  Again, if that document is cached with search engines and you cannot wait until they recrawl your deleted site, you will need to contact each one directly to request removal. More information is available in the Support doc I provided here.
