File deleted but still accessible – need removed asap!
-
I removed a file from our website osfl.club but it is still accessible.
Here’s the file: https://osfl.club/wp-content/uploads/sites/73/2022/05/U12-Brantford-Bisons-Roster.pdf
Here’s the message I received:
A concerned parent whose child is on the current U14 team has reached out to me as she googled her son this morning and the 2022 U12 roster came up with his address. The parent has an ex-husband in prison and she said she cannot have him knowing where her son is living and that this is a serious safety issue.

Hello there,
I’m here to assist you, but unfortunately, without hosting your site, we don’t have access to your specific server configuration, making it challenging to pinpoint the exact cause of the issue.
And if you want to delete pdf file, I suggest you to delete it from media. The link still works because the file is still there. If you can’t delete using the media menu, please try deleting the file from the hosting using FTP.
For more details, please contact your hosting provider to assist in the process of deleting the files using FTP.
Maybe this is all we can suggest. Because your site is not on our hosting, so we can’t help until it’s completely resolved.
But if you are interested in getting full support 24 hours 7 days a week, I suggest you move to a WordPress.com hosting service. By moving your site to WordPress.com, you’ll gain access to a reliable and user-friendly hosting platform. Our migration process ensures a smooth transition, preserving your content and minimizing downtime.
WordPress.com hosting offers optimized performance, advanced security features, regular backups, and a dedicated support team. Migrating to WordPress.com can provide you with a stable and secure hosting environment, allowing you to focus on growing your website and engaging with your audience.
If you have a website built with WordPress on another hosting provider, generally referred to as a self-hosted WordPress.org site, and want to move it to WordPress.com, use our Import Everything option. The Import Everything option will copy your existing self-hosted WordPress site to your new WordPress.com site, including your content, media, plugins, and the theme. Prerequisites A WI hope this helps.
