File Management

In anticipation of moving my site to a new ISP I downloaded my site from /Public-html to my desktop.
Before I send it to my new ISP I want to ensure it’s all correct. To this end I searched for the articles written on my site, but cannot find them.
Could you please advise me where to find said files in my downloaded /Public-html files? I can find uploaded image files, but not the text files.
