File permissions.

Hi, we would like to expand file permissions to have ability to edit advanced-cache.php and other files. Currently all these options aren’t available and most files even not visible in the ‘file editor’ plugin. Thanks.
I’ve tried to remove the advanced-cache.php by sftp, however, i’ve got this: ‘Status: Retrieving directory listing of ‘/htdocs/wp-content/advanced-cache.php’…
Command: cd ‘/htdocs/wp-content’
Response: New directory is: ‘/htdocs/wp-content’
Command: cd ‘advanced-cache.php’
Error: Directory /htdocs/wp-content/advanced-cache.php: no such file or directory
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing
Command: rmdir ‘/htdocs/wp-content/advanced-cache.php’
Error: rmdir /htdocs/wp-content/advanced-cache.php: permission denied
Status: Retrieving directory listing of ‘/htdocs/wp-content’…
Status: Listing directory /htdocs/wp-content
Status: Directory listing of ‘/htdocs/wp-content’ successful’Permission points to 777, i tried to change it but with no success. These files aren’t editable.

Hi there!
Thanks for getting in touch, and I appreciate your patience. Regarding your inquiry, editing the advanced-cache.php file is not permitted because it’s a symlinked file in our system.
Could you please let me know what you were trying to achieve by editing this file? With more information about your goal, I can provide better guidance or suggest alternative solutions.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
