  can I file share using wordpress?

  word docs, jpg, .pdf, perhaps powerpoint but only within the organization, not on a public access part of the website. Thanks in advance

  Hi there,

  You can upload files to the media library and then post their links on a private or a password protected page. However, if the site is set to public, the media library is also public, meaning anyone with the link will be able to access the files, and more importantly, the files could be indexed by search engines.

  For what you’re describing I’d rather suggest a service like Dropbox or Google Drive, or even Cloudup.com might work for you.
