file upload
-
I would like to let the readers of my page have an upload button so they can send me a file. I tried to use a widget like “soundCloud” but it restrain the type of file and in my case, it would not be a sound file. Is there any other widget I can use?

You can give them the links to free file hosting sites that give direct URLs, such as Fileden or Kiwi6.

If the file is relatively small, it can be attached to the mail. If it’s large, see previous suggestion.

(it should be small) can I have an automatic link in a form, for example, that would allow the user to browse instead of sending a “regular” email?

Maybe you can look at what I did here: http://testdocns.wordpress.com/depot-de-document/
The password is docns (It’s a test, I don’t care if the password is public)
So I need some informations about the file and the file itself. I tried with a form, but I don’t know how to attach a file to the email sent by the send button of the form…

I think I might just have found what in the plugin section… I’m new to wordpress and it’s been a long time since I last used my basic programmation skills… Thanks a lot for your help!
