file upload error

  hello,

  I am trying to upload a .xlsm file (the size is 4,51 MB) to this page of the website I am working on: https://esups.org/countries/nepal/

  However, I keep getting the following error “Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.”

  I tried with Extra File Types plugin and allowed the .xlsm extension, but it still does not work and I get the same error.

  Any idea on what I might be doing wrong or what could be the issue?

  There are a few other plugins you could try for this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/mime/

  Or, if you’d like to stick with WP Extra File Types I recommend contacting their support at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/wp-extra-file-types/

  thanks for your answer.

  I still find it confusing, as .xlsm files should be already allowed by WP.

  I tried other plugins but I am still stuck with this error.

  So far, you can only upload .xls and .xlsx files: https://wordpress.com/support/accepted-filetypes/; so, plugins are your best bet.
