File Uploader not finding my synced photos on Apple Photos

  Hello, I am using a free wordpress blog and using firefox on Mac. I am trying to either drag and drop or manually upload images to my blog posts. When I go to drag and drop from Apple Photos WordPress shows the + sign and highlights the area but then nothing is uploaded. Furthermore, when I go in to select my images from photos using the manual uploader none of my newer synced photos [since my upgrade from iPhoto to Apple Photos] are present to be uploaded. I’m having to move my photos from Apple Photos to the desktop to get these to upload. What is going on? Is Apple Photos not supported by WordPress?

  Hi there,

  Apple made some changes to their Photos app earlier this year, and image files can’t be directly uploaded from the app anymore. You’ll need to move them to your desktop or another folder first, and then you can drag and drop them to upload to WordPress.com.
