Why can't I upload files like the bbpress plugin?

    Hi
    I understand pefectly, the reasons to avoid all type of files to be uploaded on your servers (viruses, exploits, spammers, and every other malicious software or unappropiated content), but I think it’s possible to let users get most of the capabilities of the space available, and manage at least the wordpress plugins certified by wordpress, i.e.: bbpress, so we can setup a forum and so on. What do you think about this? I will wait for your soon answers.

    We don’t allow any plugins on WordPress.com for security reasons. Plugins are a feature only available for self-hosted blogs provided through WordPress.org.
