Files appearing after permanent deletion from media library

Hello, I have two files that are still appearing long (~20 hours) after I have permanently deleted them. This seems to be a recurring issue for me and makes versioning control of PDFs difficult. I have cleared my cache and still see them. Is there anything I’m missing? How often does WP clear its cache?
