Files Not Fully Downloading

  I host MP3’s on one of my pages and I’ve had constant problems with the files not downloading all the way. I thought that it may have been a location issue (as I live in New Zealand and the internet speed here is atrocious) but I’ve been receiving emails from people in other countries with fast internet speeds who are saying they can only obtain a portion of the file. Any idea why this is?

  The most recent one I uploaded is about 28MBs and the highest I can get it to download to is 8.4MBs. It says it’s 28MBs in the download box (I’m using Firefox on a PC at the moment) so I know it’s all there.

  Any ideas as to why people in the South Pacific and the US and the UK would have issues downloading a file that is properly uploaded?

  I don’t believe Volunteers have an answer to that question. Have you considered contacting Staff? http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/
