Por favor, diferenciar el término filosofia en cada lengua.
Porque ingreso con mi término en castellano, y me encuentro de todos los países.
    Gracias

Translation: Please, to differentiate the term filosofia in each language. Because entrance with my term in Castilian, and I am of all the countries. Thanks

I’m sorry but this is an English speaking forum. Perhaps a Spanish speaking blogger will be able to help out.

I speak Spanish and the last part of his request didn’t make sense to me…

    Neorural,
¿Que quisiste decir con “Porque ingreso con mi término en castellano, y me encuentro de todos los países.”? No entendí esa parte. ¿Podes ser mas especifico?

Gotta admit that I’m lost as well…

Thats to say: the word “filosofia” is common to a different languages. YOu can make a search for “filosofia” for every language?
    Sorry for my english language
(and have not a forum in spanish language)

whatever that question is, it’s certainly not a wp-support one…

The word “sophia” also “sofia” means wisdom. The word philosophy is sometimes considered to be an equivalent to filosofia. I believe what is being asked is to have a wisdom category called “filosophia” in the Spanish wordpress edition but I’m speculating and could be wrong.

or perhaps the ability to search for all posts tagged with translations of ‘filosofia’?

    again, just guessing.

  • Unknown's avatar

Yes, I think this is definitely connected to search tags for “filosofia” and to “Castilian”. hmmmm ….

Please, to differentiate the term filosofia in each language. Because entrance with my term in Castilian, and I am of all the countries. Thanks

Given that the core language here is Spanish, what is emphasized above is the Castilian dialect; don’t you think?

My guess is what he wants is to make the search for ‘filosofía’ more specific to the Spanish language (also referred to as Castilian between Spanish speaking people). This is because ‘philosophy’ also means ‘filosofia’ in Italian and Portuguese. So, what I believe is happening here is that every time he searches for ‘filosofia’, he gets results back in Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.

The only spelling difference that this word has between these three languages is that in Spanish ‘filosofía’ has an accent on the second i, but that’s about it.

WOW! How cool, I think you have worked it all out. Now this needs to be communicated to staff. It’s Ryan that’s the one working on the languages projects. Would you like to send him a feedback with a link back to this thread?

Sure thing, I’ll do that before long.
