Filtering spammers
-
When reviewing things that the spam filter has flagged as spam, how do I tell what is spam and what is a real comment? Is the text in the comment the key, or is there something about the address that will cue me?

The spam filter is pretty good at correctly identifying comments as spam.
Typically, you’ll want to look out for vague comments (for example, comments like “Nice article!”), and URLs that direct to spammy or marketing websites.
Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks, I guess that logical thing to do is to assume that the filter is right unless there is a lot of evidence indicating otherwise.
