find and replace after moving wp

    hi
    i just moved wp to a different domain and server, and everything looks fine.
    i also performed a find and replace action for url with the plugin you suggest in your “moving wp” guide (better search and replace).
    Why do you indicate to only perform a search and replace on the wp_posts table? I did so and found 1300 items to be replaced.
    Than, just to be on the safe side and because i’m curious, I performed a second search through all the tables and found 45 more items to be replaces (not in wp_posts).
    Is that OK if I replace these last too?

    Hi there,

    What is the URL of the site you migrated? So, you moved it away from WordPress.com? This sounds like you migrated the site away from a different host than WordPress.com.

    yes, i wan on host A and now I’m on host B (none of them are wordpress.com).
    everything went smoothly by following your guide. i’m just wondering Why do you indicate to only perform a search and replace on the wp_posts table?

    What guide are you referencing? Since your sites are using the open-source WordPress.org software and you need to seek help at these forums:
