"Find Friends"–eek!!!!

  Because of rather personal content on my blog, I want to remain anonymous, and I am worried that the new “Find Friends” feature will allow all of my Facebook friends to find me on WordPress! I registered my account here under the same email address as my Facebook account, because I didn’t foresee that people would be able to find me here through Facebook. I don’t want to make my blog private, but I am afraid that I will temporarily have to make it private until I can make sure that it won’t be easy for people to find.

  I guess what I’m getting at is:

  Are my WordPress and Facebook accounts automatically connected because they use the same email address?

  YES the new “find friends” feature will do all of that. Change the email that is associated with your WP account, because if they’re not automatically connected NOW they will be in future. This is how the internet works: selling out your privacy.
