Find header.php file

Hi looking to insert my Google analytics tracking pixel in between the head tags on my WordPress site. YouTube vids claim using editor link in themes but there’s no file list just code blocks wondering where the actual header.php file is now located to be able to add this code directly without a plugin thanks.

If you haven’t gone through the documentation here, I think that’s a good place to start. I think going through this will get you on a better track for solving this riddle:
https://wordpress.com/support/google-analytics/
You shouldn’t need to edit the header.php file. In short, most of what you need is likely going to be on your Dashboard under Tools > Marketing > Traffic
See if that gets you the results you want. If not, I can try to help some more. I’ve never needed to edit that file to get my analytics up and running. If I’m misunderstanding what you’re looking to do, let me know and I can try to understand better what you’re after.
Connecting to Google Analytics this way does require a Pro Plan. But it’s one good reason to consider it if you’re on a free plan.
