Find me with search engines

    I search the name of my blog on major search engines and it doesn’t come up. What can I do to ensure that it comes up?
    When I use the Google and Bing Webmaster tools, they tell me to upload a link that they give me to download – where am I supposed to upload it to?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Please do a search of the forum for “hits” and “SEO” and related terms. YOu will find thouands of tips here.

    As for the instructions you’re reading, it’s always best to follow the instructions in the Support documents here.

    I don’t see much if any content on theskirtchick.wordpress.com. – why would a search engine bother to index that blog? Search engines only index sites that have something worth indexing –

    is there another site you are wondering about?

    Note also if you have a new blog it takes 4 to 7 weeks for search engines to index a new site – and that is only if the site has something worth indexing
