Find missing WordPress blog

  Hi. I had a blog for my business with WordPress for a number of years. My user name is/was and password:
  I hired a firm to re-do my website to improve its SEO and in manipulating it, they removed my blogposts and ‘destroyed’ the blogs on WordPress. Now, when I go into WordPress and type in the name and password, there is no account. You must back up the blog posts, right? How can I recover my account and blogposts? Thank you.

  What is the URL of the site you’re trying to access?

  I honestly don’t know. Can’t it be found based on my name and password?

  We did have an account under that username, but there was no history of sites under it, so I suspect it is not hosted with WordPress.com and is instead a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.

  Knowing the URL of the site, this is how folks visit the site for example https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/find-missing-wordpress-blog/ is the URL of this thread, would help us determine that.
