Find/Replace in blocks

    I need a Find/Replace in Blocks Editor. At least in a simple text post/page. Is there one; is there one coming? Thanx for all you do!

    Hi Bob,

    We don’t offer any find-and-replace functionality built into WordPress.com. If you need to do this with a lot of text in a particular post or page, I’d recommend the following:

    1. Click the … icon top-right in the editor and switch to the code editor view
    2. Copy everything you see there, and paste into a text editor. Notepad on Windows should be sufficient
    3. Use that text editor’s search and replace functionality to make your changes
    4. Copy everything in the text editor
    5. Paste that back into the code editor view on WordPress.com, replacing the original content.
    6. Switch back to the visual mode of the editor on WordPress.com.

    If you need to make site-wide changes there are also search and replace plugins you can use, but those require our Business Plan.
