Find url for posts

I want to post a category chronologically but I don’t know where to adjust this in the URL.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Like this? https://wanderinggypsylaurel.wordpress.com/?orderby=date&order=ASC
Add the ?orderby=date&order=ASC to the URL of your category to get the order by published date in ascending order.

I am confused about where to find the URL to change. When I go to my first post for the category I want to put in chronological order, I see the URL. However, hitting edit does not seem to take me back far enough in the URL. So, do I edit the short link instead? Or am I missing the boat here? Also, do I just have to edit the first or last post in this category? Thank you for not laughing at me!!

I was assuming you wanted to link to the category in ascending order from somewhere on your blog. For example for your category of first-two-months – your URL for the whole category in ascending order would be…
https://wanderinggypsylaurel.wordpress.com/category/first-two-months/?orderby=date&order=ASC
You would need to use the link on your site in that way – either as the URL for your menu item – or as the URL in a widget. Instead of using the category widget you could create a text widget and list each of the categories with links to whichever arrangement you want for each of your categories.

Yes! This is exactly what I want to do with my category First Two Months!!!! Where do I go to edit and save this URL?
I don’t know where to find the URL I need to change. I am on my WP admin site. Does this make sense?

Where do you want this link to appear? If you want it to appear in the menu, you will want to make a new menu item of the type “link”.
This describes how to make custom menu items in WordPress.com – https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
Especially the section of that page on additional menu items –
https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#additional-menu-itemsI usually access my sites using the old dashboard and it is a little bit different presentation. Basically you want to create an additional menu item of the type “link” – following the instructions the support pages – use the custom link we created and in the new item field use the Name First Two Months.
Let me know if your dashboard does not look like the one in this support document.

Success!!! Thank you so much!
That makes sense now to use that custom link. Thank you for your patience! -

Yes, I have updated so many times now! My problem was that I didn’t have a clear idea as to the purpose of my blog/web site. I don’t have a FaceBook presence so I wanted a travel blog/RVer blog/some static web pages for friends and family and me. I also wanted to share what we learned along the way. Some of that will evolve into more pages. Today marks 8 months as a full-time RVer! We sold everything and hit the road with no experience at all. My next goal is to purchase a domain if I think the world would be interested in our adventures, misadventures, successes, and failures. I’d rather be glad I tried, than wished I had!!!! WordPress rocks!!! The support is phenomenal!

I cracked up with your first post on being locked in the trailer! Good luck with your site.. Former librarian here too!
I think there is a way to show this request as resolved, so You might want to do that.
