Finding a URL for a picture on my blog

  How do I find a URL for a photo that I have placed on my blog so that I can share it ?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello,

  A photo’s URL can be seen in the Media view. You can navigate to the Media view on the side navigation (Located under Blog Posts or Posts if in the wp-admin panel.

  Within the Media view:

  1) Select your image
  2) Select the “Edit” button located at the top of the page. (This step not necessary if in the wp-admin panel)

  The URL for your image should be able to be seen on the lower, right-hand side of this Edit view. Within the text field labelled “URL”

  Thanks for your help. Hmmm…….. I’m not seeing anything labeled URL. The closest thing I see to an address is under Metadata, File name which is the partial URL = img_####.jpg. I’m looking for th full URL so I can share.

  Hi @marzoo7

  Depending which browser you are using, I am using Firefox, you can right-click with your mouse on the image and from the drop-down menu choose “View Image” which will open the image in a separate window. You can then view and copy the full image’s URL from the address line.
