Finding an old website!
-
Hi There,
This is in regards to locating a website that used to exist on WordPress. My father had several websites with WordPress. He passed away a little over a year ago and when his credit cards were cancelled and the payment for the websites were due, obviously the payment wasn’t made. We attempted to contact WordPress to help but to no avail. Now, one of his websites was called Danaerea and it was a sci-fi story he had written. His name was David Keating. I am about to send the story to a publisher, but I have no idea what order it goes in as the file I have with the master copy is broken into several pieces. I was hoping to use the website to put those pieces in the correct order so that I do not tarnish all of his hard work. So is there a way that I can pay to have the websites re started, or is there a way that I can take a look at the Danaerea website so I can see the order? Do these websites still exist as they have been closed down due to missed payments? I really want to do this story, and my father, justice and need some help! Any way that I can do this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m sorry for your loss.
I think I found a copy of the site on archive.org, though it may not be complete. If pages are missing, try checking “captures” on other dates (in the bar at the top of the screen) to see if any of them were more complete.

@sinceyouareasking, sorry for your loss. It looks like http://danaerea.com/ was never hosted here on our servers, so there’s not much more our staff can do. He had his own copy of WordPress hosted somewhere else. I even tried to determine who his host was but didn’t find much.
If you can look at the old card payments though you may be able to find his old host, and figure out if they have backups. I think the archive version @bookgirlmn posted may be your best bet. Best wishes!
