Finding content from a website previously hosted by wordpress
-
Hello world,
I am currently trying to shift my website to squarespace, and foolishly transferred it via the domain provider rather than through wordpress (previously I was editing it via wordpress with a custom theme). Is there anyway to regain the data and content?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

hi there,
I am adding a modlook to the thread. So that a staff member will soon help you with this.
Thanks!

Hi @pchakrav, you should still have access to all of your data. Domains are added on top of free sites, if that makes sense, so the free site will still be there unless you removed it.
I can see you have a few sites here with content. Try heading to My Sites and switching sites. Let me know if you need more help!

Hi @supernovia,
I’m afraid that I do steal need help finding the site, as the info is not on any of the sites I have currently…The domain was piacw.com, and none of the free wordpress sites has a version of that (and the only possible one does not have any data).Pia

Hi there,
Looks like you were using the self-hosted version of WordPress, therefore, you need to contact your hosting provider about this.
We’re only able to provide support for WordPress websites that are hosted by us (WordPress.com). For help with a self-hosted WordPress site you can also ask over at the WordPress.org forums:
https://wordpress.org/support/
If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and the self-hosted WordPress.org you can read this article:
