Finding free headers for Duster

  Any suggestions for finding free headers that are big enough for the Duster Theme – 1000 px by 300 px? I haven’t found many around. I’m just learning to edit photos, but I haven’t found many photos that big either. Thanks.

  Sandra-have you tried flickr? Do a search for photos that have been released under a Creative Commons license and which allow Derivatives (if you’re going to be cropping an image to those dimensions, it’s still considered derivative.)

  I just search for free, royalty-free pictures on Google and make those into headers. Usually I have to crop it to the proper dimensions and then resize it to the proper pixel size. If you use them, you have to give credit according to the site you got it from. Most just want the photo credited to their name and/or a link posted back to their webpage or to the free photo site. I just copy requirements for using the photo to the properties window and save with the pic so I can’t lose them.
