Finding hidden links

Just a quick question. The last few days I’ve noticed that about half of my daily stats have been going to a photo page I’ve created. I’m just finding this strange because I’ve set it up as a sub-page and I don’t have links to it anywhere on the site; I’m using Blix and I don’t have the pages widget in my sidebar, or a link in the navbar up top. I thought it was effectively invisible, so I’m a bit stumped as to how people have been finding the page.

It’s not a problem (I just haven’t finished the page yet, that’s all), but I’d like to know if there’s something I’m missing so I don’t do it again in the future. Any ideas? Do any feed readers display new pages as well as posts?

New images are also given a new page for that attachment or image. Search engines have a funny way of finding them and I come across the same issue. Nothing to be worried about, but when a search engine indexes you, others can also find that attachment ‘page’ that is created. The feed reader would only give up the post, not the page (unless when you send the photo to your new post editor and link it to the page).

Thanks Trent. It was just baffling me because I couldn’t think of anything different I’d done. But Google makes sense… I’ll just have to make sure I don’t publish it until it’s ready. :)
