How do people find my blog, without knowing the address? Does it showup in a list of blogs somewhere, or do they have to know about it to start with.

How do people find my blog, without knowing the address?
Perhaps they find it the same way most people find things on the Internet, by using Google or any other search engine.

@montedyoung, you need to fix the link to your username. You cannot put multiple URL’s into the website field at users > your profile. Only one link is allowed, and it has to be an absolute URL starting with http:// .
This is what you have now:
http://www.wineandfoodtastingathome.com,www.culinarywinetours.biz,www.greengrocersdeliveryservice.co -
If you want more hits, you can continue to publish fresh content, email people you know with the link, and place the link in your signatures on forums.

Also, find blogs that are on subjects interesting to you and comment on them and make sure and put your blog address into the “website” field. If you are logged in here, and commenting on wordpress.COM blogs, then your username will be linked to your blog (after you fix the link).
Do not however just leave comments that say, “come to my blog” and leave a link in the body of the comment. That will quickly get you identified as a spammer. Make real comments that make people want to come and check out what you have to say on your blog.
