it seems that to sign on to my blog to read it……on iphone just put in paulsprisonpen.wordpress.com, but when I google that on laptop it says ‘no such site’. why would that be?

It may not be showing up on Google yet if it is a new site. If you go to the address bar of your web browser on a laptop and type it in: http://paulsprisonpen.wordpress.com then it should come up. It worked for me on my computer.

thank you, makes sense….but when I punch in the name, paulsprisonpen.wordpresscom, on my iphone, it comes up in a flash.
i will try the entire address, but may I ask……based on the name of my site…..above…..what will be my address for the readers…..what address would I send someone to sign in?
and why on iphone is it just the above? -

It is the same address with or without the HTTP at the start. It will come up if you put it in the address bar of your web browser (not in the google search box). What happens if you click on the link in my response above?

ok, now it did, using your suggestion…….I’m curious as to why I dont need to do that on my phone. and if anybody wanting to read my blog, if anybody ever might, will the need to type in that entire url?

It works with and without the http for me. It might depend on just where the reader is typing the URL.

when i clicked on the link it came up…….are you saying put it in url box and then it will come up by googling name. if someone asks me what is my blog address, what address must i give?
