Finding my incoming mail server

  • Unknown's avatar

I have created an email address with my domain name via WordPress and used the re-direct option to my gmail account. However, I when testing it, I found that my reply to an email will be sent from my gmail and not the email that I set up on WordPress. Therefore I would like to configure my WordPress email on Microsoft outlook 2013.

I need help with understanding what to put in the:
    – Username & Password fields (does this just refer to my blog login information?)

I need the information on my account for the following:
    – Incoming server
    – Outgoing server

    Thanks

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Unfortunately Gmail does not offer the option to use an alias the way you’d need to for your email forwarding through us. Most desktop clients, like Apple Mail, let you set up aliases regardless of Gmails actual settings though.

Ok that’s fine. I can always re-direct the mail to my Apple iCloud Mail account. When I do that, how do I set it up so when I respond to a clients message, it ends up being sent from the email address registered to my domain ((email visible only to moderators and staff)), as opposed to the iCloud account ((email visible only to moderators and staff)), which it will be forwarded to?

Here are some directions for creating an alias in your iCloud account:
