Finding page
-
I set up a page for a blog, Pittiefull.com, and cannot find it. When I go to set it up again, it is mapped to a word press site, but I cannot find it!

Hi there,
I don’t think Pittiefull.com is mapped to a site here on WordPress.com. Is your site hosted on OVH Hosting?
If yes, then I’m sorry to say these forums (forums.wordpress.com) are only for support related to sites hosted on WordPress.COM.
However you can find the right answers on WordPress.ORG forums here –

Hello sallyterra!
It appears that you registered that domain name with NameSilo.com, so you’d need to set up domain mapping and update the nameservers. These are features of an upgraded account, which you can see at https://wordpress.com/pricing/.
Once your account is upgraded, you can request Domain Mapping and update your nameservers following the instructions at https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/.
Note: After updating nameservers with your domain registrar, it can take 24-48 hours before that domain name begins working for everyone.

Just a heads-up: Your blog is currently hosted at https://pittiefull.wordpress.com/, so you are in the right place for help.

@agent5959 My mistake. I think you’re right. The blog is here.
But the name servers of Pittiefull.com are set to dnsowl.com. Not mapped to WordPress.com. While OP says ‘it is mapped to a word press site’.

What do I do? I paid for the Premium WP package and I indicated when I set it up that I had the domain name already. I had started to build out my page, selecting theme, colors, etc. WP charged my credit card.

Ok correct me if I’m wrong –
1) I see you have a WordPress.com site with Premium plan.
2) And you have a domain registered at NameSilo. In that case, all you have to do is map that domain to your site here on WordPress.com
All instructions for doing that are available here –
https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/That should work if the two points mentioned above are correct :)

I will try that. My issue has been able to log into the account, but perhaps it needs my domain mapped properly. Thanks you. I will see what I can do.

Ok try mapping it properly and let us know if that works :)

I tried that and it indicated that domain was already mapped to a WordPress site.
Ah! Let me bring this to staff’s attention by adding the modlook tag. They’ll be able to help you in this case. :)

Hi there,
The account you’re currently logged into, sallyterra, was created just before you created this thread, and doesn’t own any sites or any upgrades on WordPress.com.
Your domain and Premium Plan belongs to a different WordPress.com account, tdmgcreative. Log out of this account, and log in as the username, tdmgcreative, and you’ll have access to your site and your upgrades.
-
But tdmgcreative is the account for the company I work for. Somehow when I set up my sallyterra account for pittiefull.com (intended to be a personal blog) it defaulted to the tdmgcreative account. I need to transfer the Premium account set up and access to sallyterra.
-
If you need to transfer a site from the tdmgcreative, you first need to log in as that account. Then you can transfer the site and all upgrades on it yourself using the instructions here:
