finding page ID
-
I found a help entry that says to get the page ID from “Edit Page URL” which shows an example with a number. In the edit page form all I see is permalinks in a syntax that is very different than the example, e.g no unique page info presented
I’m adding a sidebar page widget which lists pages hierarchicly and has an exclude box where I am supposed to list PAGE IDs of pages I don’t want to show in the list. I’m stumped as to where to find the page IDs.
thanks in advance
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The correct info is in the Pages Widget help. Right clicking over PAGES/PAGES to properties gives full edit and post info with the posting number (page ID).
FWIW one of the links to page ID is blank altogether.
Sorry, but I can never find anything until AFTER I ask for help ;^}
thanks all the same

Hi can you explain exactly what do you want?
Do you want your pages to appear in the sidebar widgets instead of top tab? -
Also post an active link to the blog you’re asking for help cause http://imarieswancullen.wordpress.com/ refers to an empty blog.

To find the ID number of a page, you go to Pages > All Pages, hover over the page title and look at the status/progress bar of your browser, or hover over the page title, click Edit and look at the address bar of the browser.
