Finding & Reactivating my old website
-
Hi everyone,
I really hope you can help!
I created a website on wordpress 5 years back. The hosting company in which i had an account with (Bluehost) had deactivated it 3 years back. Now, i wish to publish it online again. How do i go about it?
I cant really find my wordpress site. When using this link ( http://www.qandjsolution.com/wp-admin ), it results in a blank page.
My website was under either of these two names:
joqadesign.com or
qandjsolutions.comCan you please help me find it? and how to get it online again?
I contacted bluehost, they tell me the website must have been deleted because of no backups. But that doesnt make sense. I created the site inside wordpress??
This was one of his replies:
” Yes. I mean since it was hosted on Bluehost, the website files which was built on WordPress will be in Bluehost which has been deleted when the hosting got deactivated.”
I’d appreciate your input!

Howdy –
Thanks for getting in touch. It sounds like the sites were built on a stand alone WordPress installation hosted by Bluehost – this is different from using our managed hosting environment at WordPress.com.
Here, we don’t ever delete anything. Even if you go from being a paying customer to a free user, your site and content continue to live on in the free version. It sounds like we’re a better fit for this project going forward.
Sadly, I think that you’re going to be out of luck with finding the site since they’ve already deleted it some time ago. One option is to look in the way back machine: https://archive.org/web/ If the sites are there you can copy the content and save it for use on the new site.
Don’t be scared about starting over. We have a team of folks like myself who will answer all your questions as you go, and we also have extensive documentation to help you through the process.
Do you still own the domains?
