Finding the ‘appearance’ sidebar on my dashboard

    Hello, The appearance tab on the sidebar of my dashboard isn’t there. How do I edit the menu bar on my website? Thanks!

    Hi,

    The appearance tab is available on the older dashboard called WP-admin. It sounds like you might be following some WordPress.org tutorials, these won’t be very helpful for WordPress.com sites as things work differently here.

    To clear up any further confusion, there is WordPress.com and WordPress.org, and they are two different entities.

    We, WordPress.com, are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites, whereas WordPress.org is stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.
