    Hi,

Are you referring to a WordPress.com site? If so, then merely display the author post archives page. The page will be of the form https://watchacalldatsite.wordpress.com/author/username/.

    Hello,

Thanks for the reply but I am not referring to the author of the blog.
I want to find all the posts from a specific person who made a comment on the authors blog. The archives doesn’t help me with that. Thanks.

We require the URL of the exact site in question to determine where it is hosted, so we can provide accurate answers if it is hosted by WordPress.COM, or if it is not hosted here to direct you to the correct support forum. Please post the URL of the exact site you are referring to.

    @ lbspytrader,

I tried to find a means of listing comments by a user. Here are the results of my search:

    1. Search Widget — The WordPress.com search widget does not return results from comments. The Search Widget support page says:

The Search widget will return results from the titles and the bodies of your posts and pages, and from media titles, alt text, file names, and captions. It will not return results from widgets, comments, categories, or tags.

    2. WordPress.com Search engine at http://search.wordpress.com/ — With this search engine various searches can be combined. For example, you can search a site and username combination, like so:
    site:caldaro.wordpress.com username:gtoptions
and refine the search further by adding a specific keyword, tags, time frame (e.g. year), etc.

The WordPress.com Search support page says, ambiguously:

The WordPress.com search engine indexes only the body text of posts, pages, and comments content. Searches for keywords found only in the blog name, post titles, and post/comment author names will not appear unless they are also contained in the body text.

The second statement may be interpreted to indicate that a search for a username (which is a keyword) will give no results unless that username is also found in the “body text.” In my tests, I found no results for searches including only the site address and the username (the nickname also gives the same results) of someone who merely left comments on the site, but was not an author of posts and/or pages on the site. I also found no results if the username was included as a keyword in the search. For example:
    site:caldaro.wordpress.com gtoptions
