finished writing/ published/will i lose if I close page

    this is totally new to me and I’m concerned that after I click ‘published’button I might lose my material If I leave the page
    will this happen

    No, your material will get posted on your blog.

    In future, please give us a link to your blog, starting with http, or link your name to your blog as explained in the thread 8 Things at the top of the forum when you ask a question. It lets us look at it and give you appropriate answers.
