Firefox & IE8
-
I just started a wordpress.com blog last week. It is still pretty much bare bone. This is my question. When I use Firefox, it displays at the top of the page everything: My Account, My Dashboard, New Posts, and Blog Info. Because of that, it seems to me that the entire world can have access to my blog, change the theme, add or delete posts, etc. When I use IE8, none of those things are displayed at the to of the page. How do I tweak Firefox so that the page won’t display anything but my blog, just like IE8 does? Thank you for your help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

that’s because in Firefox, you’re logged in to your account, whereas in IE8 you aren’t. If you login to your blog in IE8, you’ll see the admin bar there as well.
wordpress.com users who are logged in, will see said admin bar, but that bar will ONLY show them stuff pertaining to THEIR blogs/accounts, not yours.
Hopes that clarifies things.

should read: Hope this clarifies things. (Need more coffee… *sigh*)

Thank you for your answer. I’m new to blogging and WordPress and I want to make sure I got you right. Does that mean that if you for example login to my blog using Firefox you won’t be able to play with my blog, change stuff, etc? Thank you very much again.

Correct. It won’t matter what browser I use either… be it Firefox, IE8, Safari, Konqueror… Also, to clarify, if I login into wordpress (even “through” your blog), I wouldn’t be logging into your account but mine. The admin bar is just for “my” convenience… meaning, that’s just a quick access to my stuff, not yours. Your posts, pages, etc. are safe (unless you give your username and password to someone else, that is).
