Firefox Subscription Bug?
-
I’m using WordPress for a school course, where we’re put into groups that read and comment on each others’ blogs. The blogs themselves are weekly reviews of a current event article of our choice. I found that the easiest way for me to keep up on my partners’ blogs is to subscribe to them, and check back every so often to see what’s new.
About a week ago, however, when I clicked on my subscription menu at the top of my screen, it would take me briefly to the actual subscription list, then to a blank screen, URL: http://wordpress.com/#subs, which doesn’t ever load. I’ve tried actually typing in http://wordpress.com/subs/, which is the actual URL, but it comes up the same.
So on a whim, I pulled up Internet Explorer 8, and tried it out: works fine. Sure, I could use IE8 for my school stuff, but I think it would be more convenient for me, and anyone else who may be having this problem, to use the browser they know and trust and are familiar with. I use Firefox for everything, and I actually had to reinstall IE8 for this because I figured since I didn’t ever use it, I should just uninstall it and save space.
Just wondering if 1) is anyone else having this issue, and 2) how can I go about fixing it?

This is too funny. IE7 is non-functional for me when it comes to subscriptions, but Firefox works fine. I use IE7 as my default browser, so I’m having to pull up Firefox and use it if I want to deal with the subscription tab.
But I’m afraid I don’t have a clue about a fix – sorry.

Probably not going to go to IE8 right now. Too many problems for too many people I know. But thanks!
