First blog lost?!

  I have just written my first blog, but it seems to have disappeared. is there any way of retrieving it? Think the Internet connection was a bit slow, but not entirely sure how it could have completely disappeared.

  Good evening,

  Hmm, it’s possible WordPress.com autosaved it for you! It’s a pretty handy feature; click here for a guide to WordPress.com’s autosave feature.

  The Cliffnotes Version:
  Editing a Post/Page with an Autosave

  If you go offline while editing or you accidentally navigate away from a post/page while drafting, WordPress.com will save your post to your web browser’s local storage, and you’ll see a note when you return to the editor.

  Click Close to return to the draft as-is, or Restore to restore the most recent autosave. You can also browse the revisions at any time to restore an earlier version of your content.

  To see if you have a saved draft, click on “My Sites”, then “Blog Posts”–there will be two buttons in middle of your screen, one that says “Published” and one that says “Drafts”. If there is a number by “Drafts”, it means you have a Blog post in reserve! Click that button and see if if’ts there.
