First blog post – Editor not showing properly

    Hello,

    I’ve just started on wordpress, but I’m having difficulty writing a first post. Having clicked on ‘add’ by blog posts I get to what should be the editing page but it’s not showing up properly. Only a fraction of the screen is shown and I can fiddle around with the title but little else.
    Having googled around I’ve tried things such as disabling plug-ins and clearing the cache but to no avail. I’m on chrome.
