And another error message relating to the wordpress.com domain redirect incompatibility with the bluehost domain. When I tried to enable the SSL certificate, this is what happened:
“warning WordPress 301 redirect enabled. We recommend to enable the 301 .htaccess redirect option on your specific setup. Enable ordismiss1”

Hi there,
The WordPress.com account,
tdoukas38701b77ac, that you’re using to post here does not own any sites with us.The site at sciencereport.info is not hosted on WordPress.com, and has no connection to WordPress.com whatsoever.
That site uses the open source WordPress software made on WordPress.org, and is hosted by Bluehost.com. We have no control at all over that site and cannot help you with this.
Please contact support at Bluehost, or post in the WordPress.org forums at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ for help with that site.
We cannot help you in this forum.

I’m still confused… before Bluehost, I signed up with WordPress.com and was assigned 3 domains by wordpress.com
Those 3 domains are still active, and they still have only http headings.
I was told that they are interfering with redirecting to https of the bluehost domain that I recently purchased.I don’t recall being assigned any domains by wordpress.org
They were assigned to me by wordpress.comI understand that I’m not longer hosted by wordpress.com because I just recently switched to Bluehost. That’s not my issue.
My issue is that when I WAS hosted by wordpress.com, the 3 domains I received are interfering with compatibility with SSL, as far as the error messages I’ve received.
I talked with bluehost support today, and they verified that my 3 domains came from wordpress.com not wordpress.org
They said there was an error in the SSL not applying correctly. Some domain error. I didn’t fully understand. But I’d really love to get rid of the 3 wordpress.com domains, so they don’t interfere any more. How can I remove the 3 assigned wordpress.com domains from my site?
Bluehost offered to remove them for me, but I wasn’t sure, before talking to wordpress.com to make sure it was ok. -
I’d love to get help from wordpress.org if this forum can’t help me.
But wordpress.org has no ownership of the domains that were set up a couple weeks ago by wordpress.com
And those domains are still active… one of my wordpress.com domains is even marked “primary”Bluehost said it would be ok to remove them permanently, but I don’t understand enough to know if that could cause additional problems.

What are the WordPress.com domains? If you have sites with us on WordPress.com, you have them under a completely different account than the one that you’re using to post here.
Those 3 domains are still active, and they still have only http headings.
All sites hosted on WordPress.com have HTTPS enabled by default the moment they are created, and there is no way to disable it, so this is very unlikely. Without knowing the addresses there’s no way for me to check this for you, though.
I don’t recall being assigned any domains by wordpress.org
WordPress.org is not a hosting platform, so you wouldn’t have been assigned any domains by that site. WordPress.org is where the WordPress community collaborates to make the free, open source WordPress software. That software is what is installed on your hosting account at Bluehost, and which you’re accessing via your domain which you bought from Bluehost.
My issue is that when I WAS hosted by wordpress.com, the 3 domains I received are interfering with compatibility with SSL, as far as the error messages I’ve received.
That is impossible. There is absolutely no way that a site hosted with us on WordPress.com can have any effect on your SSL certificate for a website hosted at Bluehost, as there is no connection at all between your site and any site on WordPress.com.

Thank you for not telling me I’m a dolt, as I’m sincerely confused, as I can no longer locate the domain names assigned to me by wordpress.com
If you know where I can locate them, I would appreciate it. Or perhaps they were deleted when I switched to bluehost?
That said, the SSL is suddenly working as well, except on one computer that still says there is a top level domain error.
This stuff is like voodoo magic to me.

If you know where I can locate them, I would appreciate it. Or perhaps they were deleted when I switched to bluehost?
Your site on Bluehost is independent of your account on WordPress.com. Your WordPress.com sites would only be deleted if you had deleted them.
If you can tell us the addresses of the sites you’re looking for, we could advise. As @kokkieh mentioned, they must be connected to another account and that would be using a different email address. If you have any other email addressed, you may want to check if you’re able to access any WordPress.com account with them.
