First blog won't publish

The blog won’t allow me to change to publish immediately, or publish at a certain time. I’m brand new to this, sorry!

Hi there. Are you speaking about the post scheduling option? If you’re using the new editor (the pencil icon in the blue reader toolbar), it apparently goes on the timezone you selected for your blog, so if the time on your computer and the time for your timezone in your settings are different, it can cause complications. Go to Settings ->General in your dashboard and make sure that you’ve selected the correct timezone. After selecting the timezone, save those settings and go back to your post and see if it publishes now.
You can also use the classic editor which you can find under Posts ->Add New in the dashboard (there’s also a link to it in the top-right of the new editor). There isn’t currently any issues with publishing in that editor that I know of.
If I’m misunderstanding your problem, please try to explain in more detail exactly what you’re trying to do.

Thank you so much for getting back to me. I think it was confusing because my time zone was something very different than my own. It published, and I’m happy! Thanks again!!
