How does the first free year work? I want to go premium but being told first year for free, and I am still being charged for a year. What is the deal??

I’m not sure where have you seen the first year for free information, the only thing that’s free for the first year is a custom domain. It’s included in the price of the plan during the first year and you only start paying for it from the second one.
