Hello @passportstories
My first front page widget area is missing from my widgets.
Does anyone know why this is, and how to fix it?Are you talking about the 3 column widget area that can be seen on the Sela theme demo? https://selademo.wordpress.com/
If yes, follow these steps:
1. Go to My Site(s) → Customize(Beside the Themes option) or just click here: https://wordpress.com/customize/. This will open the site Customizer.
2. On the sidebar of the Customizer, click on Widgets.
3. You will find these 3 options:
• First Front Page Widget Area
• Second Front Page Widget Area
• Third Front Page Widget Area
4. Click on the respective tabs to add the widgets to the front page of the theme.NOTE: To get best results please ensure that you create a static front page and set it as a home page. Guide to set a static front page can be found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/
Also, if you want to make your site look exactly like the demo, please read the theme description(https://wordpress.com/theme/sela) and follow all the steps given here.
Let us know if this helps. Thanks! 🙂
