First (Home) page and categories
-
I am unsure why or how to change the published view of my site. For some reason the Home or first page is coming up second (as a tab). The post or category is showing on the first page. I would love some help, I am totally lost with this. Also, I have no idea what my next step with this should be. Do I need to have more stuff on here? Thanks for your help.

The theme you have is working exactly the way it is expected too. The Home page is the front page of your blog.
Blogs have only one page that will automatically update with each new post you make (usually the front page but this can be changed). All other pages sit outside the blog structure. They are not dynamic. They are for static content that rarely, if ever, changes. Categories cannot be assigned to them. The only way to make changes is to edit. Pages also lack the Google juice that flows to posts on your front page.

With your template, click on your blog title at the top of any page and it will always return you to your “home” page.
