First image from post is not appearing on homepage

  I have created my first blogpost, but even though I have two images in the post I can’t get any of them to appear on the homepage with the text from the post. Only thing I can get to work is having the image as thumbnail/cover photo when you go into the post.
  I am using the Hemingway theme. Can anyone help?

  Are you setting the image that you want to show on the homepage as the Featured image because that is the one that will usually show on the listing of your posts.

  Yes, I have set the image as featured image, but it doesn’t appear on the homepage. It is only appearing as the header photo on the top of the screen when you enter the post…
